Kindergarten Graduation

My beautiful little girl graduated from Kindergarten this week. I just can't believe how big she is getting. They sang a variation of "start spreading the news" that was so very cute. ' Start spreading the news, I'm leaving today, open up the doors, 1st grade, 1st grade'. I have to admit I cried - I am such a crybaby. I thought you only had to go through the first day of school bitterness just once, but I can't imagine dropping her off for first grade and knowing she is going to be gone the entire day.

I saw a pattern for this dress at the store and I had previously found 8 yards of this fabric at the thrift store for just $2. I am so excited about how it turned out. My very first time following a pattern. Absolutely perfect model for the job of showing it off!! Autumn with her best friend Karina and Ariana!

There were only a handful of kids who got to speak at the graduation, and all of them came from the front row - which was made up of the shortest kids. Yeah that's right - Autumn is one of the shortest in her class. In her defence, since her birthday is in June, she is also one of the youngest.
