Isaac took his first trial steps this week and he is just so proud of himself. He is at that really tough stage where he is into everything (I guess it really isn't a "stage" when all my kids are still that way). I am not sure I am ready for him to be walking and potentially getting in to more trouble. I have found him in the craziest places. I forgot to buckle him in for lunch up at the counter one day and I went in the other room to get the phone and when I came back he was on the cupboard by the sink playing with a knife.
He also loves to push the step stool all over the kitchen so he can grab whatever is in reach at the "new" level. And he is absolutely obsessed with electronics. If the phone, remote control, cell phone, camera or anything that looks like it might turn on is anywhere within his reach, he will find it. If I leave my bedroom door open, he will go in and turn the printer on and off and push all the buttons. One day he got it to print a test page and he seriously thought he had won the lottery.
I put together a little video of him learning to crawl...then walk - and yes we used the phone to "lure" him into doing both!
I have tried to put the video on 3 times now...and it just won't load! Bummer it really is so cute. i will try again next time (hopefully it won't be another 6 months before I post again - I found several half finished posts today that I had never published.)
